 CASA AGAVE™ Pot Scrubber

CASA AGAVE™ brushes are an easy replacement for your plastic dishwashing and vegetable brushes in the kitchen and home. With a Moso Bamboo or white teakwood handle and medium weight agave fiber, coconut or palmyra fiber bristles, these brushes can be used for dish washing, vegetable washing and even general cleaning in the bathroom. Always test first on new surfaces or materials for compatibility.

Replaces: Plastic dish and general cleaning brushes.

Proper Care: Make sure to not submerge or soak the wooden parts in water. Place in a dry spot after using it.

Why it matters: Plastic bristle scrub brushes shed tiny pieces of plastic called micro plastics. Unfortunately these tiny plastic pieces are not filtered out fully by sewage treatment. So when you hear about the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" the majority of this garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean is actually tiny pieces of plastic that aren't even visible to the human eye. These tiny plastic pieces are being eaten by marine animals and ending up in the food chain, being consumed by humans in sushi restaurants around the globe! And if you're vegan, they are ending up in our tap water too. Help us turn off the plastic tap and choose a more sustainable option for humans and the planet.

Sustainability: Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into Asian dishes. The plant fiber bristles are made from agave fiber mixed with palmyra fiber. Lightly coated with non-toxic wood coating to reduce cracking and splitting. FSC certified by TÜV SÜD Czech, Prague.

Agave Fiber: CASA AGAVE™ agave and palmyra fiber bristles are grown, harvested, sun-dried and processed in Mexico using traditional techniques to ensure a high quality and strong natural fiber. The coconut fiber is harvested from coconut processing waste in Sri Lanka.

Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf

Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into Asian dishes.

No Tox Life used this beautiful and renewable plant to create our Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf, a perfect dry resting spot for the DISH BLOCK® dish washing soap.

The generous soap shelf size also fits No Tox Life’s body cleansing bars or two petite shampoo bars. It fits one or two of No Tox Life’s larger shampoo bars and facial bars. Mix and match to set up your soap shelves how you like!

Place in an area where it can drain or elevate to keep out of standing water. It will need replacement with time. Each soap dish typically lasts several months, but this will vary depending on your placement, if you allow it to sit in water and your climate and humidity. Bamboo naturally biodegrades and this item can be composted at end of life.
