Warnings: This product is not meant to be cut. It is a very solid bar. It is not able to be cut into smaller pieces safely. Do not leave sitting in a pool of water, it needs to stay drained and dry between uses.
*Test in an inconspicuous spot for new materials you wish to use it on to ensure compatibility. Not recommended for delicate fabrics, with naturally dyed products or for use on porous stone surfaces such as granite, quartz or marble. We do not guarantee compatibility with all materials.
(There will be imperfections, chips, cracks, fissures and roughness on the bar and rough variations on the surface, this is normal.)
CASA AGAVE™ Pot Scrubber
CASA AGAVE™ brushes are an easy replacement for your plastic dishwashing and vegetable brushes in the kitchen and home. With a Moso Bamboo or white teakwood handle and medium weight agave fiber, coconut or palmyra fiber bristles, these brushes can be used for dish washing, vegetable washing and even general cleaning in the bathroom. Always test first on new surfaces or materials for compatibility.
Replaces: Plastic dish and general cleaning brushes.
Proper Care: Make sure to not submerge or soak the wooden parts in water. Place in a dry spot after using it.
Why it matters: Plastic bristle scrub brushes shed tiny pieces of plastic called micro plastics. Unfortunately these tiny plastic pieces are not filtered out fully by sewage treatment. So when you hear about the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" the majority of this garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean is actually tiny pieces of plastic that aren't even visible to the human eye. These tiny plastic pieces are being eaten by marine animals and ending up in the food chain, being consumed by humans in sushi restaurants around the globe! And if you're vegan, they are ending up in our tap water too. Help us turn off the plastic tap and choose a more sustainable option for humans and the planet.
Sustainability: Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into Asian dishes. The plant fiber bristles are made from agave fiber mixed with palmyra fiber. Lightly coated with non-toxic wood coating to reduce cracking and splitting. FSC certified by TÜV SÜD Czech, Prague.
Agave Fiber: CASA AGAVE™ agave and palmyra fiber bristles are grown, harvested, sun-dried and processed in Mexico using traditional techniques to ensure a high quality and strong natural fiber. The coconut fiber is harvested from coconut processing waste in Sri Lanka.
Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf
Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into Asian dishes.
No Tox Life used this beautiful and renewable plant to create our Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf, a perfect dry resting spot for the DISH BLOCK® dish washing soap.
The generous soap shelf size also fits No Tox Life’s body cleansing bars or two petite shampoo bars. It fits one or two of No Tox Life’s larger shampoo bars and facial bars. Mix and match to set up your soap shelves how you like!
Place in an area where it can drain or elevate to keep out of standing water. It will need replacement with time. Each soap dish typically lasts several months, but this will vary depending on your placement, if you allow it to sit in water and your climate and humidity. Bamboo naturally biodegrades and this item can be composted at end of life.
Lavender Earl Grey Lip Butter
No Tox Life’s Lavender Earl Grey lip butter is an herbal and citrus essential oil blend, with a hint of sweet, packaged in a zero-waste paperboard tube. We always have a lip butter in our pocket, everywhere we go! This formula is packed with moisturizing organic cocoa butter and avocado oil. No Tox Life also uses wildcrafted plant wax instead of beeswax, so it's completely vegan.
Why is it called a lip butter instead of a lip balm, or chapstick? Well, lip balm generally found in stores is oily and comes off within an hour or two. No Tox Life’s lip butter is made with nourishing, premium cocoa butter that will stay on your lips for an extended period (we usually find it lasts 4-8 hours on the lips). This product feels like a rich butter and has a matte finish.
Ingredients: wildcrafted candelilla wax (plant wax), organic cocoa butter, organic coconut oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, lavender essential oil, bergamot essential oil, organic stevia leaf
Size: This waste-conscious paperboard tube is 0.3 oz, which is about 2 times bigger than a typical lip balm size. Should last for several months to a year (or longer).
Shelf life: This product is most fresh when used within 18 months of purchase. Best stored in a cool place to keep it fresher longer.
Storage: As with any natural product, do not leave it in your car or directly in the hot sun to melt in the heat. It could melt and spill if it gets REALLY hot, and the constant heating and cooling will reduce its freshness.
End of life: Compost the recycled paper tube and black bamboo tape.
